Hello witchy friends! As you’ve seen lately, we’ve been creating a lot of new jewelry, and I would like to dive into the inspiration of one of our new pieces! Our Flying Phallus Pendant in sterling silver. Our unique pendant brings a little ancient luck into the modern age!
This little beauty is inspired by common Roman symbols linked to protection, fertility, and
prosperity — because apparently the ancients also loved a chaotic good-luck charm.
AND — it’s not just decorative.

There’s a tiny hidden cavity inside, perfect for solid perfume...

Here are some photos Astrid took while wandering through Pompeii — a trip that became a major inspiration for some of the pieces in her newest collection.

Carved phalluses on streets weren’t jokes, on top of being protection & fertility charms, they acted as wayfinding symbols, often pointing toward brothels, taverns, or places of pleasure, readable across languages and cultures. Long before a GPS could guide you to a strip club or a Brothel, this is how the people of Pompei would guide travellers to their pleasure centers.
Astrid also took photos of the paintings inside Pompeii’s brothel — one of the wildest little
windows into everyday ancient life.

Since travelers came through speaking all kinds of languages, the wall paintings showed the pleasures on offer, with prices written underneath. And the walls themselves were covered in love notes, messages, and even ancient reviews of the courtesans. Honestly? Humans have always left Yelp reviews.
From Pompeii to sterling silver — some symbols never lose their charm! Ancient inspiration but modern mischief! We hope you love this magical pendant as much as we do!
