Inchoo Bijoux has a luminous workshop located in St-Henri, Montreal with Bench Rentals!

Our Workshop Includes :

• A bench space, bolted in the floor that doesn't move when you work. They have 1-2 drawers, depending on the bench. We can adjust the bench to your height ( applicable for rentals of 6 months +)
• Storage Space for your personal Items, You can also bring your own.
• 24/7 Security Cameras and on site Security
• Access to work 24h a day, you can come in and out when you want
• A shared Space with other jewellers, ideal for feedback and learning new tips and tricks
• 4 Soldering Stations
• 1 Stone Setting Station with drilled in bench hand piece and swivelling microscope
• 2 Polishing stations
• 2 Magnetic Tumblrs
• 1 Laser engraving station
• 1 Laser soldering station (PUK / Sunstone)
• 1 Wire Pulling bench
• 1 solid bench for forge with a lot of forge elements
• The Bench rental includes a rotating handpiece (FOREDOM) included in the rental, but you can also provide your own.
• 1 jewelry cleaning station with ultrasound and vapor cleaner.
• A full kitchen with appliances in the Inchoo Boutique, we even have washers and dryers.
• Depending on your collection styles and your interest, it can also include a display showcase of some of your pieces in the shop. (Subject to a different contract with the shop.)
• A photo studio area with a white background dome, with a rotating platform that makes incredible photos ready for your needs. We also have 2 white boxes in which you can change the background photos.
• The workshop is on the 2nd floor of a building with a view on Mont Royal, gorgeous 12 ft windows and, yes of course it has AC.
• We also have a computer with Rhino 7 that you can borrow for 3D modelling and we are getting a 3D Printer for jewelry quite soon.
• We are fully equipped for Mold Making ( vulcanisator) and Castings but we prefer if castings are made elsewhere.

Expectations :
We are looking for partnerships that will be with us for a long time. We prioritize longer engagements than shorter ones. Our rentals are for 1 Month minimum engagement.

We expect you to be responsible and to have professional experience in the field. We accept students that are passed their 2nd year of cegep in Jewelry school and people who have their diplomas from Jewelry DEP, and/or equivalent experience. Our team will teach you how to use the workshop items when required but will not be stand-in teachers to watch over you at all times and educate you on your techniques. We love sharing tips and tricks but we aren't a school.

You are responsible for your bench space personal insurances. Our insurances cover the workshop and Inchoo's belongings, but do not cover your stuff. The Renter acknowledges that jewelry work involves the use of potentially hazardous tools, chemicals, and equipment. The Renter agrees to use all tools and machinery safely
and at their own risk. Inchoo shall not be held responsible or liable for any injury, accident, or health issue sustained by the Renter while working in the Workshop.

Clients are not permitted to hang out in the workshop. You can meet your clients in the Inchoo Boutique, in the Hallways, at the restaurant downstairs of the building, etc. You can tour them around quickly but we do not allow people to hang out in the workshop to limit chances of injuries or theft.

We expect you to keep your bench clean and free of hazards. We expect you to keep the shared areas clean, organized and free of hazards as well.

For insurance and liability purposes, we ask for a pic of ID and a proof of address with all rental contract signatures.

Our insurance doesn't allow for 1 day bench rentals sadly.

Monthly Rental Fee is 300$/Month.
Our ideal is for a minimum of 3 months, but we can be open to 1 month only applications depending on the availability of the space.
We have a total of 3 Bench spaces to rent in the workshop, the other spaces are reserved for the Inchoo Bijoux Team.
